Stira Pharma, LLC is an emerging Contract Research and Development company provides unique range of formulation and analytical testing services to pharmaceuticals industries. We are looking for a Project Coordinator, with a similar background in the sciences, to join our Project Management team and support R&D projects while learning the many steps that have to be tracked and communicated during development.

This position contributes to the Company's success by facilitating efficient and focused project team planning and coordination, as well as the integration of clinical and drug development plans into overall product programs to achieve the company's objectives. The position will play a key role maintaining coordination and communication between internal departments, and between the company and its customers.

 Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within project teams to help development and maintain timelines, track deliverables, and identify of out of scope customer requests with guidance from management.
  • Maintain a learning attitude to expand knowledge base and develop good project management methods and behaviors.
  • Work with operational lines to understand the fundamentals of product development and gain knowledge to lead teams.
  • Set-up and attend internal and external kick-off teleconferences with project staff and client representatives.
  • Assist project managers in writing change orders.
  • Understand the fundamental concepts of project timelines to reach key milestone dates for success.
  • Work with senior staff to understand how to provide updates on progress against project objectives, milestones, timelines and metrics.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with functional area peers, working proactively to ensure team unity.
  • Monitor and work effectively during day-to-day interactions with project core and ad hoc team members.
  • Ensure the delivery and arrival of samples and reagents to and from clients.
  • Work on strategic / operational project teams to meet deliverables and establish a successful return on investment.
  • Communicate freely with the Director of Project Management/Operations and other management team members to meet project, client and company goals.
  • Attend strategy meetings.

 Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • BS., or M.S. in a Scientific discipline
  • 0 - 2 years' experience managing projects
  • Very strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and written skills.
  • Experience successfully working with cross-functional teams comprised of technical professionals preferred.
  • Is thorough when performing work, conscientious and attentive to detail, and uses logical thinking that is well organized and methodical.
  • Is efficient in producing results that are delivered timely, is able to multi-task productively and applies time management processes and procedures effectively.
  • Works toward common goals by supporting, encouraging and sharing information with colleagues, both internal and external.
  • Speaks, writes, listens and presents information in a logical and articulate manner.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Adobe Pro
