Stira Pharmaceuticals LLC has openings for Scientists in Fairfield, NJ.
Duties: Develop analytical methods for successful characterization of drug substance and drug products. Develop injectable and liquid dosage forms as per FDA guidelines. Responsible for process improvement, cost reduction, scale up/pilot batch manufacturing and troubleshooting. Review patents and literature to identify suitable formulation and coordinate with IPR. Coordinate with CMOs and SCM in technology transfer and to ensure compliance with cGMP, cGLP and ICH, support NDA preparation for drug product filings and review technical documents.
Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacy or related field with at least two (2) years of experience in job offered or related occupation such as Scientist, Principal Scientist, or Research Associate. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
